Just posted: The Doghouse, a tale of consensual fantasy incest that was originally published in Handjobs Magazine.
Thanks to all who voted in my last story poll, I look forward to writing about getting gang banged by a high school football team. Continued apologies for being so absent around here – I still don’t have internet at my apartment, but I should be getting it soon.
Finding a great track on an album you’ve owned for over a decade – moreover, an album you’ve all but discounted (in fact I sold my CD of “Celebrity Skin” a couple years ago but uploaded it to iTunes beforehand – pretty much the only reason I listened to it, otherwise the CD would be languishing in my collection). It’s funny because this album seemed so cynical at the time with its anti-Hollywood lyrical content while Courtney Love was all dolled up in plastic body parts and revealing clothes. Set next to what women pop artists produce currently, it feels practically revolutionary – actual feminism, I almost forgot what it looked like. Besides all that it’s a perfect alt-rock studio song, on an album that happens to be filled with them – truly underrated.
My life has changed completely in the last four months, and one of the more minor changes was that I got a new phone that takes pictures. Here are some that I’ve taken during this period (some are very NSFW so I’m posting them after the jump).
This is a two-part Friday Nifty Experience, in fact the first part isn’t a Nifty story at all. It is my hands-down all-time favorite erotic story. That’s a bold statement, I know, and actually the more I think about it the more I question its veracity, but there’s no doubt in my mind that I have jacked off more to this story than to any other story I’ve read.
It’s from an old Letters to Penthouse paperback (Letters to Penthouse VIII by the Editors of Penthouse Magazine). I picked up this book when I was in high school, so this story must have been one of my formative sexual experiences or something because in my mind, it’s perfect. It’s titled “Friends Don’t Let Friends Waste Spunk” and it’s credited to “H.L. in Sterling Heights, Michigan.” I’ve often wondered about ‘ole H.L. The story is clearly the work of a professional writer – I challenge you to find one wasted word.
Below are some scanned images of the pages (click them to enlarge), but you can also read it (more easily but without the charm of a broken spine and yellowing pages) on Google Books via this link.
The Nifty portion of this saga involves a story I came across a few weeks ago when looking for Friday Nifty posts: Ice Fishing in Canada by Jimmy James. I think even a cursory look this story in relation to the other will raise some flags – my guess is that the Mr. James either consciously or unconsciously tried to emulate something he read in Penthouse one day. I don’t blame him – I’ve been guilty of this in the past. Of course, I’ve had it perpetrated on me, too.
Wanted to mention this earlier: my writer buddy Johnny Murdoc recently posted the introduction I wrote for his book Blowjob 3, titled “Why Sex?,” in full on his website. Read it here.
This cheered me up today – it’s a review of Blowjob 3 where the reviewer really liked my introduction:
The collection of stories starts out with a delightful introduction by Natty Soltesz and her great quote towards the end sums up the feeling of the stories so well. Introductions can be hit or miss and this one definitely hits all the high notes. Don’t skip it.
I suppose said praise would soften the awkwardness of the reviewer referring to me as a female if I were offended by such things, but as it is I’m totally NOT offended and I’m sort of embracing the idea that my name is weirdly gender neutral, or at least confusing. Cause gender is confusing PERIOD.
In other news, I’m going to make another (!) concerted effort to post more on here. Truth be told, I’m just fucking busy, working close to sixty hours a week. It sucks nuts and I’m totally over it. But expect a new story posted to this site in the coming week and a special sorry-I’m-a-fuck-up-and-forgot-to-post-last-week Nifty update tomorrow.
First of all, have you noticed how poorly this site has been operating lately? I called my hosting service today and they were like, “Oh yeah, we’ve been having trouble with that server for the past month,” and I was like, “Okay, so move it to another server,” so that’s what they’re going to do. So hopefully it should work better.
I don’t even know what to say on this website lately. There’s too much going on. I had to euthanize my cat a little while back. The vet came to my house to do it, which helped. I took his body to my hometown and buried him in the woods.
I sold my first collage at an event in Pittsburgh called Art All Night, really a fantastic thing. It was the first time I’d sold a piece of visual art on its own merit, so that feels pretty great.
I started writing again, I submitted something to Best Gay Erotica 2012 just the other day, so that feels good too.
“Lay back and lift up your legs,” I said. I think he knew what I was going to do.
“I’m gonna stick this beer bottle up your ass,” I said, just in case he didn’t.
Hey there, more later about what an absolute shit pile my life has been these past couple weeks, but first something good: my friend/colleague Johnny Murdoc recently released the latest issue of his zine, except this time it’s a real book.
I wrote an introduction for it, so you should definitely get it and tell me how good my introduction is, at least (har har).
