Recent Collages
Collages are what I do when I’m bored and not writing. When I amass a bunch I send them to people through the mail.
And though these all are fairly recent I am in fact writing these days, on and off, quite possibly on a new book which may or may not end up being called “College Town USA.” It scares me to announce something like this just in case it ends up not happening, hence my burying it at the bottom of this post and not revealing any details about it aside from the fact that it will be a collection of erotic stories set in a, duh, college town.

Very vibrant work, Natty — I just wish you wouldn’t GIVE IT AWAY. I assure you, if these collages were displayed in a gallery, with price tags affixed, they would SELL.
Also, first came “Backwoods” (hillbillies are hot), and then “College Town USA” (fratboys are hot too). Please consider setting your NEXT literary sizzler on a dairy farm (think of the possibilities with the milking machine)!

wow, your collages are really good! you have GREAT fodder- do you pick it out, or does your thrift loving boyfriend scavenge on your behalf? that’s pretty sweet if he does.
you’re probably already familiar, but my favorite collage-ist(?) is david wojnarowicz. he wrote some amazing books, was an activist, hustler, BRILLIANT artist- god, he’s just about my favorite. probably my favorite artist, along with oscar oiwa.

Hi Seth – thanks! Yes, much credit goes to my thrifty BF who supplies me with a steady stream of books – I think I have every children’s encyclopedia known to man. I will Google that guy when I get to work. Cause that’s what I do at work.

Awesome, as usual, Natty. I especially like “Phonecall.” Are you ever gonna sell? If so, let me know. If I’m not broke, I’m buying. 🙂
Also, kudos to Seth. I checked out David W. and his work is amazing. Also, the PPOW Gallery that houses his estate also displays the estate of Martin Wong, another fantastic artist.
Hope all is well!
