Porn Writing
Pornography, from the Greek, means literally ‘whore writing.’ You know you are a whore and you write about it. This differs from other literary careers in which you may write for years before you discover you are whore.

Lars wrote one of my favorite books ever, not the porn ones (tho’ I read a good one or two) but the one with the chess sounding title that I can’t find right now. Aargh!

It’s called “Pawn to Queen Four” and it’s maybe the only one of his books that I haven’t read, so now you’ve got me thinking I need to check it out. Eighner is most well-known for his memoir of being homeless, “Travels with Lizbeth,” which is a great book.

I’ve read the book three times but not in a few years so I think it’s time to dig it out again…
