I’ve got a new story up on Butt Magazine’s blog.

I used to write a lot more about my true-life escapades (back when I was a youngster and had a lot of true-life escapades) and I’d share that stuff now if it wasn’t so embarrassing to me (both for the dumb and dangerous things I did and for the fact that my writing was pretty weak). Maybe in ten years. Anyway, this was a story I had sitting around for whatever reason and yeah, it’s all true, except I’m pretty sure the whole “sniper” thing was more boast than fact.

New story: Deep Valley.

This is technically a “straight bud” story and as such it fulfills my duty as per the result of my most recent story poll. It’s not a new story, however, it’s an old one that I discovered and re-read and decided was not so shabby. In fact I probably would have submitted this one to a magazine back when magazines existed. As it is I’m giving it away. For free. But you can give me money for it, if you want:

That poll (and its results) was inspiring – I wrote this story before voting was even finished, figuring if a different story won I’d just write a sequel to that one, too. So chances are I’m going to do this same thing again, but I’m not sure how to add a twist to it, or just lamely go with a sequel to the second-place story. I’ll figure something out, but suggestions are welcome.

I’ve posted a new story, “Biology Lesson,” which is from the November 2009 issue of Handjobs Magazine.  I had a good time writing that one.

You may have noticed that my Blogger blog is gone. Well, I haven’t deleted anything, but I wanted to start fresh. I plan on recycling my old posts periodically, which will hopefully allow me to post more frequently (with old content, natch).

I spent a lot of time designing this site and it’s been fun. I’m glad to be done, though. Much thanks to Rob Wolfsham, my Wordpress guru (who nevertheless defected from Wordpress in the time it took me to get this site up), who provided much help and moral support.
