Story Subgenre Poll Results
Looks like it’s straight guys after all. Sigh. Don’t I write enough of those already? Well, at least it’s gonna be easy to write. I was pulling for the Stifler story myself, guess I’ll have to make do with this, as always:

One of my favourite movie scenes of all time. The acting is so convincing – I wonder if Mr Scott is a follower of the Method School?

I hope so Mark. It would add a new dimension to the scenes from his oeuvre in which he drinks cum, receives a golden shower, and tongue kisses Ashton Kutcher.

Can’t help it, there are so few that can write the straight genre well, we’re not letting you go! (But, I have no doubt, other genres will continue to be equally well received.)

I always thought that infamous scene would have worked better if he had loved the new taste in his beer…

Stifler and Straightish Buds are in my top three with Intergenerational taking the top spot.
But I’m happy either way. Ha.

I missed some of those other scenes from Scott’s oeuvre! Did he tongue-kiss Ashton Kutcher after he drank the cum?
Or is that being held back for the sequel?

Mark, the kiss with Ashton from “Dude Where’s My Car” is a must-see. In fact, that whole movie has tons of weird subtext just waiting for your analysis.
From what I can remember, Seann’s cum eating scene is from American Pie 1, the golden shower scene is from American Pie 2, and the salami-riding scene has yet to be written…

Ah yes, I remember it now, thanks to your trusty YouTube link which brought it all flooding back – the way they freak out the two ugly chicks in the muscle car at the lights!
I haven’t seen that movie since it came out and forgot it starred a criminally young Ashton and Seann. Now I know why I enjoyed it.
Doesn’t Ashton star in a later movie as a youth who triest to give up wanking for lent? Basically we spend the whole movie waiting for him to drown someone in semen. There’s a film that is beyond analysis.

I have to say I’m not well versed when it comes to Ashton’s oeuvre. He’s lacking the “take all comers” aspect that Seann William Scott has in spades. In college I took a class called Masculinity and Film and I wrote my final paper on Scott. I’d post it here if I didn’t feel I’d be utterly embarrassing myself in the face of your nimble intellect, Mr. Simpson.
Side story: I went to New York a few years back to meet with Joe Gage for the first time. While I traveled to his house in Long Island, my bf stayed behind in the city and saw the sights, including one celebrity: Seann Motherfucking William Scott, walking around in jeans with some girl/beard. I was genuinely jealous.

I’d love to read your stalker paper on Scott. I’ve always found his filmic persona intriguing. He’s both the ‘dude’ and the ‘fag’ – one of the guys and yet not; phallic and yet contstantly violated. Although in American Pie this might have something to do with the fact he’s not as bourgeois and sad as the other more ‘likable’ characters, I think he points up something about American masculinity. And how to jump it.
Oh, and don’t worry about my ‘nimble intellect’ – as you can tell from this post, I’m just a heavy breather these days.
