You’re kind of blowing my mind. I mean, I’d always sort of known that there was a market for gay romance but it honestly never occurred to me that I might fit in there. And I’d heard of Torquere Press but I hadn’t looked into it much. In particular, the Loose ID page got me excited – especially all that talk about how much money they are making! That’s not something you read about much in publishing. But it makes sense to me.

I’m wondering if you could recommend a particular title or give me more info on what you, personally, enjoy. This is all so over my head but it’s fascinating. Feel free to email me: bacteriaburger(at)gmail(dot)com.

As one of your female readers (this is one of the first places I visit, too, for 100% satisfaction), who adores your writing and can’t comprehend that you aren’t already being published by the online gay romance publishers, I realized, hell, you may not even know about it. I don’t think you’ll be able to retire, but I would imagine with your talents, you’d get a rabid following fairly soon. (As far as I’m concerned, “My Straight Buddy Scott” is ready for release — just need a little romance mush w/a HEA (Happy Ever After, i.e., they fall in lurve and ride off into the sunset)). If you’re not familiar with the publishers, I’d recommend Loose ID, Torquere Press, Samhain, MLR.

HomoSuperior, That is weird that we share the same kinks, but I couldn’t hope for anything more. I would really like to write more scripts, but it just doesn’t seem to be in the cards, or I don’t know how to get into it. At this point I’m just grateful to have an audience from you guys, because the outlets for my writing are dwindling by the day.

Steve, the answer to your question is that I’m a dumb-ass who can’t even keep his meager excuse for porn story titles straight, probably because they’re so goddamn similar because I suck at coming up with them. I fixed it and thanks for pointing it out.

And thank you Kanye, your opinion is noted. “Dr. Craig” was at the top for a while there, and I was really sweating it cause I could not think of a way to extend the lives of those characters. The only reason I added it to the poll was as a favor the reader who’d inspired the idea of a reader-based poll in the first place. I mean, I would’ve come up with something had it won, but what? Give me a good enough idea and I just might pursue it.
